Although many people see social media as a possible source of distraction, by learning how to use it strategically, you can turn these platforms into priceless resources for your future.
Making deliberate platform choices is the first step in developing a powerful online professional presence. Platforms like Twitter allow you to engage with industry leaders and academic conversations, while LinkedIn acts as your digital resume and networking centre. When utilised properly, Instagram and YouTube can highlight your work, internships, and participation in university events. Think about producing content that speaks to your academic passions and professional goals.
Passive scrolling is not enough to create meaningful connections. Contribute intelligently to discussions to interact with peers, teachers and business professionals.
