140. DOES GAIN COME WITHOUT PAIN?
There are always obstacles and hardship on the way to real success. This is especially true in college, where students must contend with more difficult schoolwork, competitive settings, and personal struggles. Long-term success and resilience development, depend on acknowledging and embracing this truth. One of the most basic tenets of human development is the link between effort and success.
You grow when you step outside of your comfort zone. You are developing both knowledge and character when you take on demanding subjects, persevere through difficult assignments, or experience academic disappointments. The greatest important discoveries in knowledge and personal growth frequently result from these trying times. Every obstacle you encounter presents a chance to improve your resilience and problem-solving abilities.

But it is critical to recognise the difference between needless misery and constructive struggle. Develop good coping strategies, have a balanced lifestyle, and ask for assistance when necessary. The goal is to embrace the challenges that result in significant growth rather than to needlessly endure discomfort. It is critical to develop the ability to distinguish between constructive and unproductive struggle.
Keep in mind that everyone who has achieved success has encountered challenges along the way. You are building the perseverance, strength, and wisdom you will need for success in the future, as a result of your current problems. Instead of seeing these difficulties as insurmountable obstacles, embrace them as chances for personal development. Successful students are frequently distinguished from those who don’t reach their full potential by their capacity to persevere in the face of adversity.
As food for thought, people migrate to easy opportunities and compete with each other for the best. Only those who persevere and struggle, get the best therein.
It therefore takes pain, perseverance and endurance to make the most gains.
