234. WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS AND INACTIONS?

The flexibility of college allows you to take control of your future, make choices, and experiment with new concepts. However, this freedom also carries responsibility. Every action you take has repercussions, including ones you choose not to take. When things go wrong, will you accept responsibility for them or will you seek out reasons to avoid responsibility?

Jack Lookman’s Courses 

Being accountable entails understanding that your decisions affect how your life turns out. Blaming the lecturer or the system won't make a difference if you don’t finish assignments on time, and end up failing the course. If you make bad financial choices and wind up in debt, it won't go away if you ignore it. Acknowledging mistakes and making better decisions in the future are more important aspects of learning to take responsibility than being flawless.
